Michelle Holiman

Michelle Holiman is a fine art photographer drawn to wild landscapes, wildlife, and chasing the kind of light that makes a place unforgettable. Her work is rooted in a lifelong love of the natural world and the desire to translate how a scene makes her feel into a work of art.

Michelle holds a BFA in Photography from Southern Utah University and has spent more than a decade working as a professional photographer. Her photographs have been exhibited at the Southern Utah Museum of Art, the Utah Hogle Zoo, and in private exhibitions throughout Utah, as well as published in news features, professional publications, calendars, and books.

Travel and time outdoors are central to Michelle’s creative practice. Whether she is hiking through a foggy forest, watching wildlife in a remote landscape, or standing at the edge of a rugged coastline, she looks for images that communicate more than simply what a place looks like. She is especially interested in the sense of scale, atmosphere, and wonder that all humanity feels when looking at the beauty of nature.

Michelle’s photographs are available as fine art prints and are created for those who want to bring a sense of the natural world into their homes and spaces.

When she isn't behind a camera, Michelle is usually planning her next adventure with her spouse, Cameron, hiking in the beautiful forests of Oregon, or at home with her two cats.
